Following an extremely tough practice week in which we had an oil breather pipe clip break followed in the next session with a puncture we went in to the first race with a week that had also been shortened by weather conditions and a lack of track time meant that our engine set up was a little behind where we would have ideally wanted it to be.
The Race went ok with the first lap completed we were lying in a good second position and were hoping for the second half of the lap to come to us. at Crosby the Birchall Team took the lead on the road and with the bottom half of the course being our fastest sector Dave & Patrick pushed and re took the lead on the road going into Ballacraine. The Birchall's pushed hard to stay with the DMR outfit and came to an end at the Black Dub section in the middle of Glen Helen with an accident that left them in Hospital for observation and Ben needing an operation on his right hand.
Dave & atrick pushed on with a lead of 21.5 seconds at the end of the second lap and a lap that proved to be the fastest of the race at 115.538mph. This was a short lived joy as the engine had developed a misfire crossing the mountain section and would only reach the Hawthorn Restaurant with the misfire making the machine un rideable.
Thanks must go out to all of our sponsors that have helped us so far and congratulations must go out to Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott who have been trying for many years to get their maiden win on the Mountain Course and also to Karl Bennett/Lee Cain, Darren Hope/Paul Bumphrey & Tim Reeves /Gregory Cluze who took the Manufacturers award for DMR.

For Wednesday we have a New ECU and wiring system that is hopefully going to prove more reliable and bring some success for the hard work that has gone into this years event.

Many thanks must also go out to the Marshalls Medics and Organisers who are there day and night to ensure that the event is run smoothly.
